Research-based creativity method from Aalborg University Denmark made practically applicable, conveyed with a high degree of participant engagement and in respect of the participants' individuality. The principles behind our tools deliberately target the individuals' language, attitude, and body that can have an immediate impact during the training.
The training is based on theory, case presentations, 3D didactics practical exercises, individual, pairs, and teamwork learning. The workshop is conducted by a highly qualified diversity consultant from Rain Diversity, who is a certified Creative Genius facilitator from Aalborg University and holds a master in culture, communication and globalisation with an organization and leadership specialisation.
Ahead of the workshop, each participant will receive an online survey about examples of challenges from their daily work and measure their creative abilities through through the world’s first digital training program in creativity where researchers from Aalborg University have developed the platform Academy for Creativity. . This allows Rain Diversity to tailor-make the workshop. Each participant is recommended to bring their own problem that needs to be solved on the training day and it kicks-off the cross-collaboration in the team.

THE PURPOSE OF THE WORKSHOP

Diverse teams can go two ways: Highly diverse teams can either reap the benefits of diversity, increase productivity, innovation and creativity or suffer from diversity, allowing cultural misunderstandings,miscommunication, mistrust, and frustration to eat up the benefits and thus become highly ineffective.
Innovation comes from the skillsets and the creativity of individuals. However, having diverse mindsets affect the manners in which collaboration occurs within an organization. It takes cross-cultural competence and deliberate creativity training to avoid the latter and secure the first.
This workshop sets out to enhance the team dynamics of a diverse people cross-collaborating to innovate while boosting one's creative skills; the ability to generate original ideas, the ability to produced variety of ideas and the ability to develop each other's idea in pairs and in teams. We provide an action plan for the participants in order for the workshop to have an immediate impact on the daily team collaboration.
The most important foreseen team challenges are identified ahead of the workshop through an individual online pre-survey. Creative abilities will also be premeasured. By doing so, we ensure to tailor the workshop to handle the challenges and explore hidden potential the specific team.
